Withdrawal holds by paypal
Frustrated with the constant withdraw holds on my money. I have tried all different methods. According to Paypal they now allow you to access your money faster – Misrepresentation! I have made a total of five withdrawals, and all five are stuck in review status, and have been in this status for almost 48 hours. According to an Paypal representative, only a small amount will be sent for review, and an even smaller amount will be in there for 72hrs. Wrong again…. Paypal’s Forum is over run with clients that have withdrawal requests stuck in pending for 50+hrs. You cannot get any information or service from Paypal customer service. I even spoke with a supervisor, and when I asked to speak to a manager, she told me “no, you cannot speak to a manager”. I was shocked to be denied the ability to speak to a manager, when I asked why that was I was informed “once it is taken higher to a supervisor level from agent, you cannot go higher to a manager”. I said that I wish I had know that sooner, as I would have asked for a manager to begin with as you are unable to give me any satisfactory answers. In fact twice her agents gave me inaccurate information, telling me funds had been released and it was my bank holding the funds. I spoke to my bank twice and was told there was no deposit showing from Paypal. I called back, and was then told…..sorry, it hasn’t cleared it will take up to 72hrs to review. I lost a client through my ebay business because of this, and then another one…… Having a 100% positive feedback on my business was something I was very proud of….only to have Paypal and their fraudulous ways ruin things.
I have complained to several governing bodies and I hope someone will stand up to them and stop this blatent loophole to prevent monies being transfered in a timely fashion. Paypal has not problems taking money from your account, or even to add insult to injury…when I lost my ebay client and had to refund money for the sale – despite being in review hold for over 48hrs, it was instantaniously credited back to my account when I had to credit the customer. Amazing, cannot speed up releasing funds, but in seconds can have your withdrawal reversed and back into Paypal – and they try to say this is legitimate business dealings. I smell fraud when I see it and this is just a form of fraud they are using on thousands of Paypal customers.
Enough already, perform business to high standards, or move over for the next alternative. Paypal seems to forget there are other methods out there, and they can be replaced just as easily as they were built up.

in the us paypal is registered as a money transfer agent and not a bank so this allows them to get away with holding our funds and delaying the release of them. What drives me absolutely nuts is how they keep telling you lie after lie when you call them. Just tell me I am going to have to wait 5 days for my money and I’ll deal with it but don’t tell me I am going to have my money tomorrow and then it’s not there!!
