Sending limit warning flag
Hello,
Recently I tried to use my Pay pal account and received a sending limit warning flag. I tried to email them and they did not resolve the issue. I just called them and they want me to either link a bank account or open a pay pal MasterCard. I already said in my email that these two choices are not choices because I don’t want to do either and I don’t appreciate being forced to do either. The rep and her supervisor both said I have to do one of of choices in order to continue using my existing account. I hung up and decided to see what the credit card rates were.19% I think not pay pal. I happen to read through the user agreement and low and behold this is what I found.
“PayPal Account. You are not required to apply and/or have a Smart Connect Account in order to have a PayPal Account,”
“PayPal Account. You are not required to apply and/or have a PayPal Extras MasterCard in order to have a PayPal Account”,
of course trying to email them is impossible unless you have some other issue to select in their drop down boxes. What kind of a scam is this? Telling me they are bound by the government to enforce these criteria but yet right in their own user agreement it says I don’t have to!
