Paypal are theives!
Paypal is holding £2000 of our money and are refusing to release it even after we have jumped through all their hoops!
We sold online services with hundreds of happy customers (all completely legal and above board), with only 1 complaint, (basically they wanted a refund within 3 hours of purchase! who does that?)
Before we even had chance to refund or speak with the customer, Paypal put our account on hold, refunded the money to fraudster and requested us to supply a whole host of extra documents!
Although annoyed, we bowed to their requests; supplying the plethora of information that god only knows what they do with… the result….
NO change, they won’t release the money or unlock the account for an unexplained reason… all you get is some generic regurgitation.
HOW THE HELL CAN THIS BE LAWFUL!
If Paypal we’re a small company you would most definitely think that you had been scammed; what is the most painful is that £2k is not a small amount of cash to us and you cannot simply forget about it, meaning we have to keep perusing this case… but what the heck can you do?
There is no-one to turn to, just places like this on the net with other horror stories.
What can we do!?

PayPal seldom makes a change even after you supply them with the ridiculous amount of documents they request. I don’t even know why they bother asking for it since it never makes a difference. I think it’s more so the account holder can feel like they have a chance when in all reality they don’t. You can file a complaint with an ombudsman for starters. But most likely you’ll have to wait 180 days to get your money.
I really don’t understand why they ask anyone to provide any information. Even if you do they still keep the account on hold. There really isn’t much you can do about it. Just pray that after 180 days they release the fund to you.
Sue PayPal (or better, sue them class action).
