PayPal took my money and denied I had an account.
About seven years ago, I place an item for bidding on eBay auction. The only option to pay ebay was through Pay Pal. I opened an account and deposited about $110 in it. The ebay auction didn’t go well at all. One ebay member started making bids he had no intention on honoring. After complaining and trying to settle the matter, I withdrew the item and had not done business with them since. A few months after, I contacted Pay Pal to refund my $110 and was told that I had no money on my account. I had not done any other transaction with anyone but ebay. Recently, I payed for an item I purchased online from a seller in China. I didn’t want to give them my credit card info so, I payed through Pay Pal. When I was filling the form on Pay Pal, I got a message on the screen stating that I had an active account with Pay Pal and if i wanted to pay with that account. I decided not to pay with that account and used my card. I called Pay Pal and they again denied that I have an account with them. Despite what the message I received said. I’m debating whether I should try that again and see if I get the option of paying with that ghost account. Back then, there was no Google, Bing, facebook, or a website called paypalsucks.com–sucks the money right out of your pocket. Thank you folks for creating a forum where the public can be warned. DO NOT DEPOSIT MONEY OR CREATE AN ACCOUNT WITH PAY PAL. You won’t be able to get a refund or return of your money, period.

This is one that I have never heard before; paypal taking your money and then denying you have an account. What will they think of next over at Paypal? Anything to take our money instead of earning it. You will probably never get your money back from paypal. That is the sad truth. But you should try and make a purchase again and see if you’ll be asked again if you want to use your paypal account.
This is something I have never heard of before. Them denying you have an account. I know it was a long time ago when you set this up but did you record your paypal number? But I do agree the will steal from anyone they can with no regard. I stopped using paypal after finding forums like this showing all the bad paypal does to people
