PayPal has been holding my money for 9 years!
My story is so much like everyone else. I hardly know how I can tell my story differently. I too found PayPal through Ebay, I had my bank account linked with theirs and I had put over seven thousand dollars in to paypal so it could grow. I also would electronicly move money from my account into Paypal accnt also. This was in 2003.
One day I looked and it said that money had been put back into my original bank account but it wasn’t there. I thought I would check later might be a glitch. When I checked later there were all these reverses and I had nothing left, not one dime! As a matter of fact I was in the negative because somehow it had even been overdrawn. I called my bank in a panic they had nothing to report, they could see no transaction except earlier ones that were okay. I called PayPal and that’s when my story sounds like everyone elses. locked PayPal acct Send in information I used to open the acct. So. on… I once overheard laughter in the back ground at my expense as the costumer support person snidley said “maybe your husband is taking it” I was devastated. Ebay had locked me out with the merger with Paypal and I tried for a couple of years to get justice I called . I wrote, I sent my info again. I put in a complaint to BBB, Attorney general, Consumer complaints. It is now 2012 and I haven’t
a penny of my money or any way or action to help me get it back. The way I see it is that PayPal users fall into two catergory’s. Those who trust it and those who know better because it happened to us.

Paypal has been holding my money for nearly 9 months now. I had been told that my funds would be available after 180 days and all I had to do was to request for the funds to be transferred to my bank account. But every time I go to request this I gen an error msg on the webpage. I have called paypal trying to get my money released over the phone but they told me they can’t verify my information over the phone and that this can only be done by logging in to my paypal account. To date I have not been able to successfully submit my request. I really need this money
