PayPal is delaying return of stolen funds
My Ebay account was hacked into and Shipping labels were printed at the cost of $531.36 two days ago. Then PayPal withdrew funds from my checking account to pay the $531.36 without my authorization. The money was taken immediately, no delays, pending review or any of the other bull shit, snap and the money was gone. I was able to get the labels cancelled and Ebay refunded the shipping cost. My funds are now tied up in PayPal and it will be 2 to 3 days before the $531.36 shows up in my balance so that I can get it transferred to my checking account. It certainly didn’t take that long to pull the funds from my bank so why is it taking paypal all this time to give me my money back? They won’t put me in contact with anyone who can speed up the process telling me that this is regular procedures. Oh so it happens all the time that people get their accounts hacked and money taken, well that is not very reassuring to know?! I just want my money back the same way it was taken; INSTANTLY!

You can count your lucky stars if it only takes 2-3 days for you to get your money back. That would be very fast for paypal. I had to wait over 3 months to get my money back after I bought an item and paypal charged me 3 times for one purchase. They took the money instantly but were not nearly as fast at returning it. I don’t use them since but haven’t closed my acc yet. Sure that will be a problem too.
ya i agree when i have a paypal smart connect payment only takes 24hrs to remove the money needed for the payment but when i have funds from a sale i want to put in my bank takes about 4 days to show in my balance i hate when they do that they dragging their feet saying to eachother lets make transfer long as possible
