Paypal customer service sucks

I have so many Paypal complaints. But I will share the latest one. I received an email stating that my statement was now available to view online. To view, just go to my account. I went to my account and and clicked on every link that I could find, and never found my statement. I called PayPal. The girl on the phone insisted that she was able to view my account and statement. I asked her why I can’t, she said that it is probably something to do with my computer. I told her that I have 3 computers, my sons, my office and a laptop, and that I could not find my statement regardless of wish one I used. At this time to asked me to hold on, I said ok, thinking she was going to going to get someone that had more knowledge to help me. But I waited about 4 minutes, then heard beep,beep,beep,beep,beep,beep beep,beep,beep, on my phone, which ment that she had hung up on me. I tried calling again, but the new person that answered the phone this time wanted me to explain the the whole problem
again. I told him that I had just spent 20 minutes explaining it to a girl that just hung up on me, and I was not going to go through that process again. I told him that should probably typed all the information in my account, that he could just read it. He said that there is no sign anyone helping me with any issue in the last 24 hours. So I asked him, then you think I’m lying. He said, no, I’m just saying that your account don’t show a call from you in the last 24 hours. So I just said forget it, and hung up.

Bottom line is, that when these people don’t know how to help a customer, they’ll hang up on you, or give you the run a around.

    You gotta be kidding me. I am not surprised. Seems like that is their operation mode…when in doubt…disconnect! What is frustrating is that they don’t care how much time someone wastes on hold or being passed around from one person to the next for no helpful service whatsoever…they just don’t care. Your problem is not an issue for them. I think one of the biggest complaints IS paypal customer service!

    Yeah whats up with that?! I mean whats the point of having customer service if they dont do anything to help you and then hang up on you. And their email support is no better. Just a bunch of generic emails not regarding any problems you might have.

    Does’nt surprise me that you would get hung up on. That’s how paypal works. When things get tough they hang up!

    That’s just absurd. Their customer service skills are at a 0. They suck just like the rest of the bullshit company. I spent a whole days not too long ago trying to solve and issue with my account and their customer service hung up on me a total of 5 times. I mean how the hell can they run a buisness and not have properly trained people to help with customer issues? Ugghh this company is the worst and I will NEVER use them again

    That is just awful. They obviously don’t value your time. Did you know that they have the ability to make notes on accounts? I guess you just weren’t a good enough account for them to do so. I have had the worst experience dealing with them. Using paypal for business that isn’t in their approved category can be catastrophic. My account was limited and funds were hold for upwards of 180 days. It was a real blow to my company. It turns out the item I sold was considered high risk (used designer clothes, who knew?) The person who bought from me spent a substantial amount of money then claimed it wasn’t name brand or as described. In the end I won the dispute but my funds were still held.

    I totally agree. I’ve been on hold for over 3 hours now with customer service. This is a serious issue as ebay says they sent payments from items I’ve sold to my PayPal account. My PayPal account indicates that they received all the payments (4 of them over the last few months), but none of these were actually credited to any of my accounts connected to my Wallet. I suspect fraud, but not sure what I can do about it. If you know whom I can contact, please let me know. Thanks.

    I’m tired of dealing with outsourced customer service. Paypal’s system is antiquated and takes way to long to make transfers unless it is to remove money from your bank account or credit card. Refunds take, as they say, 3-5 business days to be credited back. IT’S 2015……….COME ON……..instant transfers are possible. Paypal needs to quit cheaping out on crappy customer service in other countries with people, that for starters, never had and never will have a paypal account. All their customer service reps do is read from a monitor and never answer your questions. The worst thing is when you ask to speak to a supervisor, all they do is transfer your call to another flunky representative. Bring customer service back to AMERICA and quit paying american dollars to foreign countries that could care less about the job they do for paypal……SHAME ON PAYPAL!!!!!!!!
