PayPal Credit Card Expiration Stupidity

My credit card expired and PayPal gave me a warning as such. I decided to update with my new expiry date and 3 digit code, as soon as I made my next purchase. Simple I thought especially after completing this update on e-bay in seconds. Unfortunately when i attempted this update on my PayPal account i noticed you could only ADD another card and not update your existing one. No problem, I thought. Unfortunately, I found out you cannot use the same card with updated details. I contacted PayPal who informed me, to my amazement, that their system would not accept the card again after being blocked for expiry date and I would need to either use a different card or ask the bank to give me a new card number. What a dumb ass company. In summary, I have done neither and will no longer use PayPal for anything.
