Limited because my friend sent me money
Long time ebayer & stellar record with both ebay & paypal, I’m a TOP RATED POWER SELLER. My account’s been frozen because my friend sent me money so I could Western Union it to him same day. Since it takes 4 days to hit your bank account & his replacement debit card has still not arrived, and he needed the money ASAP to pay BILLS and EAT. Not just frozen, they PULLED $600 from my account as well. WORST OF ALL I was told I can’t do anything about it, it’s limited until my friend does what he’s supposed to do. But they can’t tell me what that is. But they also won’t tell my friend what that is, apparently.
He pulled money from a provisional credit that according to Paypal, “He knew he was going to lose.” And sent it to me so I could send him cash. Since he’s paid regularly through his Paypal and it’s his SOLE method of payment right now, it’s not likely he’d seek to steal money from his own account by falsely claiming fraud. He’s been paid again today & of course his account is frozen too so not only did Paypal pull their money FROM ME and a business associate of his, but they’re collecting his money as well, and leaving us all frozen out of getting paid for our work & sales.
I’m far beyond angry. I’m LIVID. I broke NO RULES. NONE. EVER. And I’m losing buyers RIGHT THIS MINUTE because they can’t complete payment on my ebay auctions. I have a rather large traffic order coming up in days and no way to receive payment for it or make payment to procure it for my client.

So I guess no one is immune to paypal mistreatment, they even go after power sellers now?! I don’t get it what you did wrong. Are you not supposed to be able to send money between friends with paypal? That is what I mostly use it for; to send money to my children and grand kids. I should rethink that it seems like and just go back to old fashion checks. Takes a bit longer but better then not getting it at all.
same here i used to be able to get the money and be able to send it my bank or pay off a bill through paypal i got positive feedback so there was nothing worng until january everytime i do a sale im frozen until my item sent and i have do all this crap until my item is deliverd depending how good of a job usps does then wait however days after its delievered
