I received an email saying they’d closed my account for the security of PayPal
So I recently logged in to my PayPal account and added $637. After trying to purchase an iPad from eBay. My money was refunded due to a problem with the seller’s accounting. So after that I decided to just move the money into my bank account. After trying to transfer the money I received an email that my account had been limited because I hadn’t used my account in so long. There was a list of information that they needed in order to lift the limits. The information they wanted was all standard. They wante. A photo id, a bank statement, a change of password, and also a change of security questions. All pretty easy standard info. So I complied and gave them the info they needed. Then they told me they needed more information. They also needed 2 proofs of address, another photo id, social security number, ect. I have nothing to prove my address. All my bills are included in my rent and my cell phone is a straight talk phone. So I called PayPal and told them I was frustrated things didn’t go very well, I didn’t curse but I did tell them I wanted myoney back and I’d take them to court if I had to. Bruce, the PayPal limitations specialist, told me they’d review my account and send me an email. About 7 hours later I received an email saying they’d closed my account for the security of PayPal. I had $637 in there and the email said that the money I had in there will be kept for 180 days then they will send me an email about how I can receive my funds. I am pissed. How can I get my money back like NOW.!!!!.
