eBay is screwing me bad
I purchased an ebay based company for a quarter of a million dollars and inherited an ebay account with the company. I have never sold on ebay before. The account was below standard. I put my name on it then learned this. I called ebay and they stated I could not remove my name and put it back in the old account holders name and that I was stuck with it. I cooperated and sold items for under costs for the last 90 days to build feedback. The account has a 150 item limit. You have to sell 400 items in order to be evaluted on a 3 month scale. I did this. As of the 20th of sept (this month) I would be above standard. Ebay just suspended me and stated that my account has been below standard for too long. No one is willing to help. It seems they are just too big to fight. I know have 30,000 headlights in my garage without a way to sell them. Any suggestions? I also have another order of 10,000 arriving in 4 weeks. With my account above standard I would move 3000-5000 of these a month. Now excuse my language but I am fuc***. This is my 3rd business so its not going to end my life but I just feel something needs to be done. I never even entered into a user agreement as I just put my name on the account didnt agree to anything that was the previous account owner. They also stated I am not allowed to transfer accounts like that I said ok then put it back to the old person and I will open new. They stated that is not allowed. Why dont we all band together and flood there system with calls everyday for 1 week until they realize things need to change. Then there normal customers wont be able to be serviced. Just a thought. All of us together can be bigger then ebay. I have money and I am willing to fight them.

what about selling from your own website using a merchant account? THat could be one way to get rid of some inventory and with a merchant account your funds are not held like paypal does it. Just a thought hope things work out for you.
your name is on the eBay account that means you’re responsible for it moron. Maybe check something like that next time, eh?

That alone has got bad news and foolishness written all over it.
I am an ebay seller selling car parts. My account is above standard and I have over 1,500 feedback. Maybe we could partner up and I could help you sell your headlights and more?
